ArtSway is a unique place in the heart of the New Forest in the South of England to see, discuss, make and engage with significant contemporary art from the local to the international. A purpose built and architecturally important gallery space hosts a changing programme of exhibitions and wide ranging creative opportunities for all
ArtSway offers a broad programme of exhibitions and events; in addition to the changing programme of exhibitions ArtSway also hosts short term exhibitions, artist residencies, educational workshops for all ages, off-site projects in partnership with local organisations, international projects (including hosting a pavilion at the Venice Biennale in 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2011) and an array of artists talks, group crits, portfolio days and presentations. ArtSway is also currently supporting Towner, Eastbourne, in its Art Fund International Project. ArtSway is a member of Forest Arts Forum, the consortium of cultural delivery organisations in the New Forest and a member of Turning Point South East, the regional visual arts consortium developing visual arts in South East England.
ArtSway supports the arts in partnership many local educational institutions, such as Schools and colleges, and is in a strategic partnership with the Arts University College at Bournemouth supporting each others work.
