Welcome to the January edition of ArtSway Information and the first of a new year! We hope you all had a great Christmas and wishing you a happy and healthy 2010! 21 November 2009 - 24 January 2010

As we enter the last few days of the ArtSway Open 09, for any of you who didn't see the exhibition, we would like to announce the winner and congratulate Dolly Thompsett.

Dolly creates small, intricate paintings by building up layers of paint interspersed with glossy resin laminates. The work is incredibly unusual and we look forward to Dolly's solo show here in September 2010. The image (left) is Dolly's winning Open 09 entry and a great example of the exciting work we will soon be seeing more of. Once again, congratulations to Dolly.

The ArtSway Open 09 is sponsored by Lashmars of Lymington with additional support from Arts & Business.
