'GREEN SPACE' is a partnership project between The EDGE project and ArtSway to create a 'growing space' as an interactive educational project for both young people and local residents; promoting both community cohesion, and the importance of self-sufficiency and green movements.
The project has developed from an initial idea from young people volunteering on The EDGE project, who wanted to create a growing space that would be an art work in its own right, providing an environment that many different people can enjoy.
Volunteers have helped clear the site ready, made raised beds and turn the space into GREEN SPACE!
The site has enjoyed visits from schools and colleges and has a range of fun workshops planned over the summer, see here!
