About ArtSway's Residency Programme:
ArtSway has developed a high quality reputation for residency based activity for visual artists. Each residency offers a professional fee, production support and the opportunity to present work produced during the residency in ArtSway's galleries with the full support of a professional visual arts organisation. Information about previous artists in residence and their work can be seen through the links below and through the Exhibitions section of this website. ArtSway has traditionally offered three production based residencies in each year either in partnership with other organisations and/or by open submission.

The residency is offered to emerging and mid-career visual artists working in any medium, who wish to develop new work for presentation in a supportive environment.

Previous exhibitions and projects by artist who have undertaken residencies at ArtSway can be viewed through the Previous Exhibition page and are marked with an 'R'.

Opportunities are advertised in an magazine and in the email distribution lists of Arts Council England and other resource organisations (ARC, ArtQuest, InIVA, ETA etc.) All of these organisations operate email subscription lists which we suggest you join.

ArtSway encourages applications from any artist regardless of ethnic origin, gender, disability, religious belief, sexual orientation or age. All applications are considered on merit.
