ArtSway continues its tradition of supporting artists by exhibiting and selling work from local makers in our craft and art bookshop. We have a changing selection of jewellery, ceramics and textiles to choose from: see the list of artists below.
This Christmas we have selected local makers to lower your carbon footprint - why not come and shop stress free at ArtSway! Handmade artist greetings cards for any occasion are also available. Craft prices start from £5 upwards.

Angels Created by ArtSway Associate Artist Elpida Hadzi-Vasileva Artist in Residence, Gloucester Cathedral 2008-09
40 angels made out of pheasant and duck (female and male) heads are attached to plaster casts of angels from the South Transept and hand painted using the colours from the reredos in Gloucester Cathedral. Their strange beauty and elevated status draw attention to the ambivalence of our relationship with birds - whom we both protect and preserve as well as exploit. There are 40 in total with two different angel designs, individually painted with uniquely different heads.
