Exhibitions and events

ArtSway is currently running a small summer program of exhibitions. There will be more occasional exhibitions in the autumn organized by local artists and also by students in residence from Arts University Bournemouth so keep watching this space.

1 – 12 June: The Last of the Untamed
All over the world, National Parks help to preserve our last wild spaces. Jamie Brown will be exhibiting his photographs at the gallery from Wednesday 1st June – Sunday 12th June 2016. The exhibition has been extended due to popular demand!

21 – 24 July: Bringing a story to life
Inspired by the New Forest, Laura Long has created a collection of artwork that brings children’s drawings to life. Laura will be exhibiting at ArtSway from Thursday 21st until Sunday 24th July.

29 July: Terence O’Rourke private exhibition
Terence O’Rourke is an award-winning planning and design company, based in London and Bournemouth. Their private summer exhibition is taking place at the gallery on the 29th of July.

Mary Doulton – Wood
2 – 13 August: Out of the Woods, Into the Trees
Printmaker Mary Dalton will be exhibiting her latest works at the gallery from Saturday 2nd to the 13th August.

20 – 29 Aug: Hampshire Open Studios, Coastal Gallery exhibition
The Coastal Gallery will be holding an exhibition at ArtSway during Hampshire Open Studios 2016 from Saturday 20th August until Bank Holiday Monday 29th August.

3 – 17 September: Painterly sites
“Painterly Sites” is the first major exhibition bringing together the work of Jim Hunter and Michael Griffiths who will be showing their work at the gallery from Saturday 3rd to Saturday the 17th September
